Im not even sure what a blog is to be honest with you, but here I go. First of all, I wonder if people ever even read these b/c Ive never once read someones blog in all my life. Ill start with a little about myself. Im 22 and working a job I do not like at all and desperately want to get out of it and finish up school. I made a few mistakes my first year or 2 and am now paying the price for it. But enough about that, How about the Atlanta Braves!!! I will be and always have been a Braves fan my whole life. I grew up admiring Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz - the best three that has ever once been put on a team. Its a little depressing that out of those 14 years we only got one ring but I guess thats just the way it is. Its wierd now seeing the Braves not make the playoffs since thats the only thing Ive ever known, at the same time though at least im not getting my hopes up every fall just to have them crushed as has been lately when they do make the playoffs. I think this year is going to be a great year for the Braves. It has been a rough start but things are going to come around. Our hitting will end up carrying us till we get Gonzalez and Soriano back to beef up that pen. Now with Smoltz closing I like our chances to pull out the W with the lead going into the 9th. Sure we will take a hit on our starters but they will come through. Huddy, Glavine, and Jarr-Jurr will more than capable of being a solid 1-2-3 punch. The other love of my life would have to be the Auburn Tigers. I love all sports at Auburn but football is king around here. I bleed blue and orange!! I cannot wait until August 30th when we start our way to a BCS championship. Our offense is finally going to start doing something and its going to be great. On the defensive side I dont think there is a better team in the conference as usual. Its all set up for us to have an amazing year on the Plains. Go Braves and War Damn Eagle !!!
